El presidente ejecutivo de la Asociación de Líneas Aéreas en Venezuela, Humberto Figuera, manifestó que el reinicio de las operaciones ha sido con prudencia a raíz de la paralización del sector por la pandemia de COVID-19 en 2020 y parte de 2021.
«Las líneas aéreas vienen de estar paralizadas y entonces deben empezar a volar con mucha prudencia. No saben si realmente los vuelos se van a llenar o van a tener una cantidad de pasajeros que permita pagar los impuestos», aseveró en entrevista con Esteninf Olivares, para Unión Radio.
Figuera prevé que el número de frecuencias actual se mantendrá en 2022, además el aumento de las mismas dependerá de la demanda existente.
Vuelos internacionales
En cuanto a los vuelos internacionales, Figuera destacó que «hay indicios de que vamos a comenzar a operar con más frecuencia hacia Colombia», y se mostró optimista en que las operaciones hacia España se mantengan el próximo año, reseña Unión Radio.
«Esa es la idea: que se mantenga la vilateralidad», entre las líneas aereas nacionales e internacionales.
