En el marco del Plan P95.0, el gobernador Manuel Rosales activó este miércoles la brigada ciclística de la policía Regional, la cual, en primera instancia, laborará en el casco histórico de la ciudad capital, pero, en el mediano plazo, se extenderá a otras zonas de Maracaibo y del resto del estado Zulia.
«Es una brigada especializada, dotada y entrenada, para brindarle apoyo a la familia, al sector turístico y comercial, en áreas específicas de la región zuliana», explicó el Gobernador Manuel Rosales
Adelantó que la activación de esta brigada forma parte de la revisión del relanzamiento, de la reingeniería que está haciendo en el Cuerpo de Policía del estado Zulia.
«Una redimensión de la Policía Regional en coordinación con las autoridades, con su comandante, con el Comisionado Nacional, el Comando, el Estado Mayor, con la coordinación de las Secretarías de Gobierno y de Seguridad, para iniciar el proceso de convertir a la Policía Regional en una policía moderna, estructurada y bien dotada», afirmó Rosales.
La brigada está habilitada con 20 Bicicletas 29” (rotuladas y con luces de emergencia), 80 uniformes, 40 cascos, 40 pares de guantes, 40 lentes, 40 pares de zapatos y 40 gorras para ciclistas.También cuenta con 40 Camel back.
Consultado sobre la situación de los funcionarios jubilados de la PR, manifestó que todos los jubilados, de todas las áreas, están dentro de los planes que está elaborando el Gobierno Regional, dentro de las limitaciones que confronta la administración pública del Zulia.
«Estamos haciendo un proceso de ajuste. Pueden estar seguros de que no los hemos olvidado y están en nuestras prioridades».
