Un suicidio fue la causa de la muerte del golfista estadounidense Grayson Murray, fallecido este sábado a los 30 años, informó este domingo su familia en un comunicado.
“Hemos pasado las últimas 24 horas intentando aceptar que nuestro hijo se ha ido. Es irreal asumirlo para nosotros, pero también lo es tener que decirlo al mundo. Es una pesadilla”, escribió la familia Murray en una nota publicada por la PGA, según reseña de EFE.
“Tenemos muchas preguntas sin respuestas. Excepto una. ¿Era Grayson amado? La respuesta es sí. Por nosotros, por su hermano Cameron, su hermana Erica, toda su familia extendida, sus amigos, sus compañeros golfistas y, parece, muchos de vosotros que estáis leyendo esto”, prosiguió.
“Queremos dar las gracias al PGA Tour y a todo el mundo del golf por las muchas muestras de apoyo. La vida no siempre fue fácil para Grayson, y aunque se haya quitado la vida, sabemos que está descansando en paz”, concluyó.
La familia de Murray pidió respeto por su dolor y que la gente honre la memoria de su hijo siendo amable con los demás.
